I’ll Show You Mine If Your Show Me Yours

The “beer” is root beer. I like to come home after a long day and crack open a cold one :)

  • It looks a lot like mine.. :)

  • Mine looks like a gerbil cage.

  • Oh I wish mine would look the same, unfortunately I still have a lot to do with my fridge… :)

  • I’ve been dreaming about getting a new fridge! Those huge things of kale or collard greens are just too much!

My refridgerator and freezer are funny — I have one shelf and one drawer and my husband has the rest. Mine is filled with organic fruit, left over meals, that kale and collards, veggies and almond milk. My husband buys stuff at Costco – so there are big tubs of Smart Balance, reduced fat whipped cream, gallons of milk, ham, cheese etc. etc. Freezer is the same — I have one bin filled with brown rice tortillas, wild salmon steaks, organic wild blueberries from Trader Joes, and a baggies filled with soup in popped out of cupcake tins. Husband – frozen meals (he’s changed from lean cuisine to Trader Joes, which is an improvement I think), ice cream, tubs of butter, etc. etc. I would love a new fridge with the freezer on the bottom!

    Dear Tara,
During the new year I was hoping and praying for a healthier lifestyle both spiritually and physically. I started going to church. I eat greens whenever I can over chips. However I am addicted to coffee and with it I add tons of sugar and cream. I feel really bad afterwards but when I taste it oh my gosh! So delicious. Also, since a very young age I used to run everyday and workout on my own for fun but now it feels like a chore. I’m stressing over the changes I’ve seen in my habits as well as my body. I want to be more in tune with my body so I can be healthier happier and learn to be more calm. You are a gorgeous and amazing person to me! You look so young yet I hear about you everywhere my parents used to call me Tara stiles because my name is Tara as well! If you could post a daily retiming for people looking to start their journey I would be so thankful! Thank you for taking your time to read this! Best of luck to you I hope you always remain healthy and take action with joy.
    xo, Tara Hower
